Information Collected and Stored Automatically

If you browse through the application, read pages or download information, we will gather and store certain information about your activity automatically. This information does not identify you personally. We use the aggregated tracking data to help us make the application more useful to users - to learn about the number of users to our application and the pages our users browse. We use this information to improve our applications.

Usage of Camera

To provide an automated recognition of your food items and a visual log of your meals, camera usage and photo gallery are options available in the food(lg) app. Images will be processed by a deep-learning framework automatically at our backend systems.

Photos can be shared / viewed by other users of the app, if you select the "Share to Hallspace" option. You are solely responsible for the data, photos that you upload on this app. You should not upload any obscene, offensive or inappropriate data, photos.

The Way Information is Used

National University of Singapore (NUS) does not capture personal information about visitors to our application unless you choose to provide that information to us. NUS does not share your personal information with other entities, except where such entities have been authorised to carry out specific services.

We use the personal information you give us as a research tool to develop and improve the content of National University of Singapore's network of applications.

Security Policy

National University of Singapore has created security guidelines to protect the loss, misuse, or alteration of information collected from our application. Access to personally identifiable information is only provided to authorised National University of Singapore administrators via a password.
